Current Opportunity: Full Time Office Manager
Salary: $25,000
Hours: Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 10am -2pm
Location: 7390 S. Walker Ave., Suite H, OKC, OK 73139
Holidays: Never work Sundays or on major holidays.
Work Environment: Very laid back with little pressure. Sometimes extremely fast paced.
Experience Preferred: Worked in high paced conditions. Customer service oriented, effective multi-tasker, and efficient on the computer. No gold/silver industry knowledge is required for the opportunity.
About the Opportunity: As the office manager, you are our go-to-person for that office. You will be responsible for everything that happens at that office. Essentially, we are looking for people who want to be their own boss.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers and usually the only person they will see. Customer service is of very high importance to us as our business thrives on repeat business. It is very important the office manager be able to build relationships and treat every customer with respect.
The manager is in charge of opening and closing the store. Taking phone calls. Keeping the office clean and in mint condition. Buying gold, silver and platinum. Communicating with the owners every day on business activities. The manager may also be asked to help with marketing efforts.
This opportunity can be a lot of fun as you will learn how to test gold and silver jewelry, coins and bars. You will get to work with cash and gold all day. For us, it never gets old 🙂
About the Company: OKC Gold Buyers was founded in 2009. We started the company with $1,200 and a $5,000 loan from family. From there we have consistently grown to where we are today. Currently, we have 3 retail locations. They are in Lawton, I-240 in Oklahoma City and off Danforth in Edmond. We are going to continue to grow and are looking for all-stars to put on our team.

Q: Does OKC Gold Buyers provide health insurance?
A: Currently, we do not provide health insurance. The reason is simple, for a company of our size (3 employees) the cost is way to high to even consider.
Q: How does “time off” work?
A: We like the feel of a small business. That’s why we are business owners…we hated the corporate structure! With that said, we don’t have time off policies or sick day policies. We do our best to hire like-minded, mature people who show up to work. Our current system allows office managers to take one Saturday a month off. We understand life comes up and there will be times when you need off or want off. As long as there is up-front communication with the owners, this is usually no issue. We are also very generous around big, family holidays.
Q: Are there quarterly reviews and raises based on performance?
A: As a small business based around retail offices, we don’t have the luxury of that. However, we do have a passion to pay our people well. So if your office has a really good profit month, you can expect some money to be thrown your way. Bottom line, you do your job well, it will not go un-noticed.
